THE NORTH ZONES GAZETTE

VOL. 1 # 3

M41.1.996

OUT COME THE WOLVES

The Delaque Bull Dogs were having a grand time, drinking and gambling when a band of Goliath thugs calling themselves the” Red Wolves” attacked them early this afternoon. Sources say Malone and his lackeys had just left the Sin Inn when the Red Wolves started to challenge them. Bull Dog gangster “ Crypt” lost his right eye in the melee and juve “ Snakes” was taken to the local infirmary with a chest wound.

Sin Inn patrons recalled their being only about eight Goliaths but the sure got the best of Malone and his gang. It was later reported that the leader of the Red Wolves is a long time gang fighter named Killian Duffy, a resident of Diablo Hole and former member of Jimmy “ the Juke Box” Darby’s, Gore Monger Goliath gang. His fierce reputation for violence is well known.

BATTLE FOR THE BREWERY

The Bad Zone brewery is without a doubt one of the North Zones biggest cash crops. A three way gun battle was fought over who would control the brewery., The Bad Dogs, Death Dealers and Codicers all suffered losses as a result of the disorder and chaos that was the scene tow nights ago in Sump Town. A ganger who participated in the lawlessness asked to have his identity protected but gave us a statement:

“ That fragger Dred and his numb skull wannabes did more damage to themselves and the brewery than to anyone else. El Chote fought him toe to toe on the bridge connecting the brew house to the water changer…it was a crazy fight if have ever seen one…In the end the Bad Dogs still have control.”

Word on the streets and on the Guild bulletins as that Bad Zone Brew is still owned by El Chote, although rumors abound that the Codicers now have a percentage in all profits.

GREETINGS FROM COFFIN HEIGHTS

Gangs from the Coffin Heights region paid the North Zones a visit this weekend, starting fights with locals, drinking and not paying, leaving graffiti and discharging weapons in public. The worst incident being Uncle Stone Bone’s warehouse being looted and burned. The Watchmen at Black Junction have noted which gangs made their way through the tunnel and some Merchant Guild hard noses have began contacting gang leaders to prevent this from happening again.

Officer of the Watch, Tor Slato gave the Gazette this list:

12 gang members, House Delaque, “ Cold Warriors”.

7 gang members, House Orlock, “ Gunslingers” .

11 gang members, House Escher, “ Gang Green”

22 gang members, House Van Saar, “ Ficket’s Gang”

Upon returning to the Echo via Dog Town, one Gunslinger was heard screaming “ Bad Zoners, watch yer backs” over and over.
